Mari Nemec

Mari Nemec is a rising 2L who is pursuing a career in family and juvenile law. Mari currently serves as Secretary of Arizona’s Pride Law and Co-Chair of the National LGBT Bar Association’s Law Student Congress. Prior to attending law school, Mari was the Manager of Public Affairs at the National LGBT Bar Association, where she handled the organization's communications, organized the annual Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair, and conducted policy research. She is excited to work with law students on polishing the art of legal writing this year. Mari is especially eager to help students new to legal writing become more comfortable and confident in their abilities. Originally from Virginia, Mari still enjoys exploring her new home in Arizona. She likes trying out new vegan recipes, hiking, and cross-stitching in her free time.
